As a company, Rand
is committed to diversity among our employees and suppliers. In
2009, we bolstered our diversity program by outsourcing our
nationwide plant staff to a Tier 1 MWBE company
(Minority-and-Women-Owned Business Enterprise).
Likewise, Rand has a joint venture relationship to provide assembly and pack-out services in the southern region of the country through NewTech Packaging, a certified SBA HUBZone business enterprise. These partnerships bring our corporate minority spend to more than 25% annually.
